Peter, Val (and Bob)

 Val and I went to Strumpshaw Fen. There were very few people or birds around see pictures here

 

 Val organised a get together with staff she had worked with. We met at a rather nice Indian restaurant called Roti.  On arrival the place was completely empty but that rather suited us and the staff were very welcoming. In all we were 6 as some had fallen by the wayside as a result of illness and other reasons

 It's been forever since we had visitors but today we had visitors from Cornwall. Val's friends Anne and Chris had come up to Norfolk with their dog several days ago to see friends and we were pleased to see them this afternoon with their lovely dog Henry. We had been to see them for several days back in 2019. They have a lovely house in Constantine.  Before it got dark we did a walk of about 3 miles with Henry before it got dark.  Those of you who know Bob will know he's a nervous chap and so we had moved him with all his "stuff" to our bedroom.  When we got back we spent the time eating cake and drinking tea while sharing stories. It was lovely having them but before we knew it they had to leave as they had a schedule to keep. 

 On the 21st Nov (last Sunday) Val and I went into the city have our third jab for Covid-19. This was the Moderna vaccination as we had the AstraZenica for our first and second.  The initial vaccinations had little to no effect on me but the Moderna on Sunday effected both of us in different ways. I had a sore arm initially and then felt like I had been kicked all over until today when I can more or less say I feel recovered. I've not been out until today. At short notice I decided to take my camera with a 27mm lens and take public transport into the city. The following are a few of the pictures I took. Pictures on Google Photos
