This Wednesday saw our first experience of a Lockdown quiz, with Lizzie and James and Chris and Alice. It was lovely to ‘see’ everyone. Our questions, jotted down on a sheet of paper, were on General Knowledge. The Butterworths and Ward-Smith were far more slick with their PowerPoints. They had rounds on Ancient civilisations, Food and Etymolgy plus some observations on film clips. We were fairly evenly matched and we all found out how much we didn’t know! Looking forward to the next one, two weeks later.
On Saturday we decided to take the Citroen for a run, just along Dereham Road, opposite the cemetery. It was a sunny day and we had an enjoyable walk through the cemetery, taking photographs and without coming across too many other people.
Then we wandered into the city to take more photographs. We had an added bonus: a capuccino from Costas ( the machine in Tescos).
Sunday is another fine but cool day. We have ordered our first Lockdown takeaway: Giant Yorkie from Ginger Lily.
